Seriously, after all the gun violence, our county fair board feels that it is appropriate to sell assault rifles! I am appalled!! I can understand hunting rifles and even handguns, not a fan of them but I can understand, but assault rifles. You should be ashamed of yourselves for promoting gun violence, since killing people is all an assault riffles is good for. 5/15/2018 08:57:32 pm

Shame on you. How insensitive and disrespectful of all of the victims and their families who were murdered by the same type of assault weapons that the Senior FEAR Board is auctioning! The AR-556 WAS USED IN THE NEWTOWN, PARKLAND, LAS VEGAS AND TEXAS CHURCH MASSACRES! How dare you auction military assault rifles while our school children are living in fear that they may be slaughtered just like the kids from Columbine to Parkland. We will call this event THE MORROW COUNTY JUNIOR FEAR! BOYCOTT BOYCOTT BOYCOTT ! We are not against guns, we are against greedy people who sell assault rifles.

I want to thank the Morrow County Fair board for my new modern Sporting rifle Ruger AR 556 It will be put to good use teaching my kids how to shoot.

Congrats John. I had hoped to win one of the 7 firearms but luck wasn't with me this time. That's okay, I consider the profits went to a good cause. I've never been to the Morrow County Fair and probably never will go. But when I read those first three comments I just had to throw some support to the causes of common sense and Second Amendment
